Pen Customization Guide

Use this guide to explore the different components that make up your custom pen. Each section covers a key element — from the base style to bead types and length options — so you can customise with confidence.

 

Pen Bases

Retractable

  • Solid-colored bases with a retractable reel on top.
  • Not compatible with toppers, as the reel serves that purpose.

Solid

  • A single cohesive base with the default stopper — no rhinestones.
  • Available in metallic, gradient, solid, and sparkly finishes.

Split Bases

  • Rhinestones on the upper half; the lower half is left smooth.
  • Bottom can be solid, metallic, gradient, or sparkly.

Rhinestone

  • Sparkly rhinestones cover the entire base.
  • Available in solid color, gradient, and multi-color options.
  • Some styles include larger gems or pearls for extra detail.

Beads

There are many bead types to choose from. Here are a few popular styles for reference:

  • Fuzzy pompom-style beads
  • Several varieties of floral beads
  • "Bubble" beads with a rounded, lumpy texture

Length

Pens are typically available in two lengths: three-bead and four-bead. Standard length pens come out around 6 inches, and extended are around 7. A longer option exists, but is reserved for special cases only — these pens can become top-heavy and harder to write with comfortably. 

Doorables as toppers

Doorables are approximately 1.5 inches tall and add around 1in when used as a topper.

Green ~7in, white~6in, bear ~8in, Gambit ~7in.
